2013 INCLEMENT WEATHER UPDATE:

The Egg Run Team have regrettably CANCELLED the Egg Run for this year due to the weather. We don't want people to take unnecessary risk just to deliver an Easter Egg and your safety is our paramount importance.

We will be having a 'drop in event' NEXT SATURDAY (30th March) 10am to 12pm at Mansfield Fire Station where you can bring your Eggs and have a free cuppa. If you can't get next Saturday and still want to donate your Easter Eggs you can drop them off at Mansfield Fire Station, Bestwood Lodge Headquarters at Arnold, or at your nearest Fire Station in Nottinghamshire. CMC Motorcycles at Clay Cross and Daybrook have also agreed to receive Easter Eggs on our behalf if you can't reach a Fire Station in Nottinghamshire. If you do want to use CMC to drop off your eggs then please report to their Reception upon arrival. Thank you.

We may be planning an alternative 'ride-out' when the weather gets better.
Please look out for future posters in bike shops, around Matlock and other places if we do organise something.

Failing that.....

Time:

Meet at 0930hrs for a 1000hrs 'ride-off'.

Please try and arrive as near to 0930hrs as possible for safety reasons so that everyone can be in place (and facing in the right direction) before all the bikes set off. With up to a 1000 bikes to move (as on previous years) it can be difficult if people are still trying to arrive when others are ready to move off. Thankyou.

Venue:

Meet at Forest Recreation Ground (Goose Fair Site) travelling to Mansfield Fire Station along the A60. Please see the 'directions' page in the next few days for more details of the route.

Anyone who cannot attend but feel they would still like to make a donation towards day trips for disadvantaged children and children with special needs then we now have a registered bank account to accept funds.
